PARKER STALLWORTH
Parker first began creating art in high school. He took traditional art classes and was in a graphic design program. His early cartoons were featured in the high school newspaper. He began drawing and creating stories for a multitude of characters. One of his art teachers introduced him to Edward Gorey as Parker's work reminded him of that artist. Edward Gorey has continued to be an inspiration for Parker. Parker is also inspired by H.R. Giger, Stan Winsten, Tom Savini, some of the original Warner Bros. cartoons on Cartoon Network, and Japanese anime. He is an otaku. Movie genres that inspire him are sci-fi, fantasy, and horror. Some of his favorite movies include Avatar, Nightmare before Christmas, and Toy Story. He continues to be inspired by special effects in film. Parker would someday like to become a special effects artist for movies, television, and theatre.
